Parallelsamfundspakken og Mjølnerparken

  • I marts 2018 indgik et flertal i Folketinget en aftale om at modvirke såkaldte parallelsamfund. 
  • Lovgivningen trådte i kraft 1. december 2018 og indeholder bl.a. krav om ændret beboersammensætning i udsatte boligområder. 
  • Mjølnerparken blev i 2018 klassificeret som “hård ghetto”
  • En udviklingsplan fra 2019 kræver, at andelen af almene familieboliger reduceres til maksimalt 40 % inden 2030
  • Som led i planen blev ca. 221 boliger planlagt frasolgt til private aktører. 
  • I 2022 godkendte Københavns Kommune en salgsaftale med investoren NREP, som købte to boligkarréer og erhvervslokaler. 
  • Omdannelsen omfatter renovering og etablering af nye boligtyper samt en handelsgade
  • Over 259 familier er blevet permanent genhuset som følge af ombygningen. 
  • I 2023 udgik Mjølnerparken af parallelsamfundslisten, da beboertallet faldt til under 1.000. 
  • I løbet af 2026 skulle omdannelsen være gennemført.

The Parallel Society Legislation and Mjølnerparken

  • In March 2018, a majority in the Danish Parliament reached an agreement to address so-called parallel societies.
  • The legislation came into force on December 1, 2018, and includes, among other measures, requirements to change the composition of residents in vulnerable housing areas.
  • Mjølnerparken was classified as a “hard ghetto” in 2018.
  • A development plan from 2019 requires that the share of non-profit family housing be reduced to a maximum of 40% by 2030.
  • As part of the plan, approximately 221 homes were scheduled to be sold to private investors.
  • In 2022, the Municipality of Copenhagen approved a sales agreement with the investor NREP, which purchased two residential blocks and commercial premises.
  • The redevelopment includes renovation and the construction of new types of housing, as well as the creation of a shopping street.
  • More than 259 families have been permanently rehoused as a result of the redevelopment.
  • In 2023, Mjølnerparken was removed from the list of parallel societies, as the number of residents fell below 1,000.
  • The redevelopment is expected to be completed during 2026.
